Up for sale, a 1995 Fender "Order Made" Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. The Order Made program functioned as a sort of Fender Japan custom shop, offering non-catalog features and finishes. This particular “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass is an upper tiered model, essentially mirroring JB62-75 model specs, yet with the same black bobbin pickups seen in the American Vintage models of the era. Other premium vintage-centric features include spiral bridge saddles and long stem, reverse-geared clover button tuners.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this Jazz Bass weighs 8lbs 14oz. The bridge pickup offers a smooth growl and distinctive upper midrange character, accentuating the top end articulation of a set of fresh roundwound 45-100 strings. The neck pickup, in contrast, has a thicker, broader tonality. This Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Olympic White finish has gently and uniformly yellowed, and cosmetic wear includes one impact of note with corresponding finish chip on the bass-side lower bout edge, a smaller ding on the belly carve, a tiny bit of finish checking at the neck pocket corner, and some additional small marks consistent with use.
The original gigbag is included.
