Up for sale, a 1995 Fender Custom Edition Yngwie Malmsteen signature Stratocaster model ST57-140YM in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags. From the first year of Yngwie's official endorsement with Fender Japan, this top-tier 'Made in Japan" model was a non-export model offered only to the domestic Japanese market, featuring a scalloped maple fretboard with a 10" radius and super jumbo fretwire, a brass nut, and a pair of USA-made DiMarzio stacked single coils.
The guitar features the original USA-made DiMarzio HS-3 (DP117) single coils in the bridge and neck positions, delivering hum-free performance, ideally suited for fluid neo-classical metal. The ST-Vintage Fender Japan single coil in the middle position is also present, yielding quintessential Strat sparkle and complementing the DiMarzios well at positions two and four on the five-way pickup selector. This ST57-140YM has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
