Up for sale, a 1994 Peavey Classic 30 and Classic 112E 1x12 extension cabinet in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original footswitch. Revered by blues, country and rock players alike, the Peavey Classic 30 1x12 tube combo amp spans the tonal landscape from vintage to contemporary with ease. The speaker is a 12” ceramic magnet Blue Marvel, and the tube complement includes three Sovtek 12AX7s in the preamp and a quartet of Sovtek EL84 power tubes. Additional features include a 3-band EQ, footswitchable dual channels, active Presence control, and Reverb.
The Classic 112E extension cabinet is loaded with the stock 12” ceramic magnet Peavey Sheffield 1230 speaker, rated for 16 ohms with a heavy duty frame, ceramic magnet construction, and both the original foil label and smaller model sticker intact.
The original tweed has a couple stains on the sides of the enclosure with a few smaller scuffs and marks throughout. There is one minor tear in the oxblood grillcloth, which is otherwise clean and retains the large Peavey badges. The bright chrome-plated control plate has clean white silkscreen text and includes all the original chickenhead knobs.
The original two-button footswitch is included.
