Up for sale, a 1994 Orville by Gibson LPS-80F in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and uncommon outside its country of origin, this Orville is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this discontinued Orville model was crafted at the Fujigen factory.

This guitar evokes the look and feel of a late '50s Les Paul Standard with a solid mahogany body and neck, a solid maple cap with a figured "Photo Flame" veneer, glued-in long tenon neck joint, and the original pair of humbuckers. These pickups deliver a PAF-style tonal profile, with great top end articulation and tailored mids for maximum clarity across their dynamic range. The neck pickup is warm and rich, while the bridge pickup has a drive-ready bite. This LPS-80F weighs 8lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Vintage Sunburst finish is particularly dark, with faux figured Photo Flame across the solid, carved maple cap. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
