Up for sale, a 1994 Ibanez RRG-6HH in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This extremely rare top-tier Ibanez was a non-catalog "spot model," produced in sparingly limited quantities at the Fujigen factory and predating the J. Custom line. Features include a pair of Quantum humbuckers, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, reverse headstock, 24-fret fretboard, and an ash body with a satin finish.
Based on tactile feel and appearance, the fingerboard appears to have been crafted from leopardwood, a rare selection splitting the difference between rosewood and ebony. The Quantum humbuckers feature ceramic magnet construction, designed to yield an ideal blend of power and articulation. The five-way pickup selector switch also coil taps the humbuckers at positions 2 and 4. This RRG-6HH weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The smooth satin Natural finish highlights subtle bearclaw figuring in the ash on top, exhibiting very limited checking at the arm contour. There are a few small finish chips along the body perimeter, faint buckle rash central to the back (largely constrained to the cavity cover), and some pick wear across the strum path. The neck profile retains its smooth satin finish, with a few shallow marks along the profile length that are virtually undetectable to the palm.
A modern Ibanez padded gigbag is included.
