Up for sale, a 1994 Gibson ES-350T in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. While many incarnations of the ES-350T are notable for their shorter scale length and narrower nut width, this particular Gibson will surely delight Jazz purists and players seeking more conventional Gibson geometry, with a full 25 1/2" scale length and 1 11/16" nut width. Other traditional dimensions of the ES-350T have been retained, with a full 17" lower bout width and slender 2 1/4" body depth. It's highly likely that this ES-350T was custom ordered for Gibson's Japanese distributor Yamano, as it was just discovered in Tokyo and imported to Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar.

The fully hollow maple body is paired with a three-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fretboard, and this guitar weighs only 7lbs 5oz, offering both an immediate acoustic cut and a sweet, broad tonal quality. The original pair of '57 Classic PAFs feature Alnico II magnets, delivering a smooth, airy treble response with a touch of growl on the note attack. The neck pickup has more breadth and body with a bell-like top end, a favored setting for retaining clarity for lead work and complex chording. This ES-350T has been professionally setup with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Vintage Sunburst nitro lacquer finish exhibits very subtle checking, framed by heavily ambered binding. The maple features subtle flame figuring, particularly concentrated on the lower bout. Cosmetic wear is limited to a handful of tiny dings and faint scratches on the body as a whole, largely relegated to the back and rims. The neck profile has been stripped of its original gloss, exposing the maple and resulting in a very smooth, satin feel.

The original Gibson USA brown tolex hardshell case is included. The locking latch is non-functional.
