Up for sale, a 1994 Fender Stratocaster ‘54 vintage reissue model ST54-AS in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. The ST54-AS is a unique, non-catalog model featuring a deep soft V neck profile carve and an ash body finished in a shade best described as Honey Blonde, featherweight at only 6lbs 11oz.
The trio of alnico magnet single coils have plenty of treble snap and chime, with a midrange detail and distinctive note attack attributable to the ash body. The neck pickup has a sweet, velvety quality and each position on the five-way pickup selector is distinct. This ST54-AS benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
