Up for sale, a 1994 Fender "Order Made" Stratocaster ‘57 vintage reissue in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production. The Order Made program offered finish and component options well beyond what was advertised in Fender Japan's catalogs; this particular Strat features a trio of unique ceramic magnet pickups coupled to CTS pots, and a two-tone Sunburst nitro lacquer finish.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece flame maple V neck, and this Strat weighs 7lbs 13oz. The trio of ceramic magnet pickups are quite P-90-esque in their construction, with a pair of ceramic bars sandwiching the staggered poles and Gibson-style braided leads, all with untouched solder on the five-way switch. Full and punchy, these pickups have a certain midrange bark and kick while retaining a Strat-like sparkle. The bridge pickup has a focused bite, while the neck is full and girthy, retaining strong articulation. This Order Made Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss two-tone Sunburst nitro lacquer finish includes wear down to the alder along the lower bout perimeter that has been buffed smooth, buckle rash across the back, and a number of tiny dings on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss, highlighting flame figuring in the maple, with one shallow dings on the bass-side shoulder at fret 4 that has no impact on playability.
An era-correct Japanese-made black tolex hardshell case is included.
