Up for sale, a 1994 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue fretless model JB62-77FL in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted in Japan for the Japanese domestic market, this “Made in Japan” model captures the feel and look of Jaco Pastorious' famed J Bass, with factory-installed USA-made pickups and vintage-spec hardware includes long stem clover button tuners and spiral bridge saddles.

Tonewoods comprise an alder body and a maple neck capped with a lined slab rosewood fretboard. This bass can deliver plenty of growl, burp, and treble presence via the single coil pair. The signal can be throaty and punchy with the Tone knob rolled off and the neck pickup favored, or dial up the bridge pickup for a more midrange forward tone. Weighing 8lbs 11oz, this Jazz Bass benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 D’Addario Chromes flatwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

-Scale Length: 34”
-Nut: 1 1/2”, bone
-Tuners: Long stem, clover button, reverse geared
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” N-prefix

The three-tone Sunburst finish is accurate to vintage-spec with a burst that is only two-tone beneath the area where a pickguard would typically be mounted. Cosmetic wear includes light buckle rash concentrated central to the back, some small finish chips and dings along the lower bout perimeter, and a few additional minor marks on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss save for light wear on the bass-side shoulder behind frets 6-7.

A gigbag is included.
