Up for sale, a 1993 Orville Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty” model LPC-75 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and long ago discontinued, this Orville is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this Orville model was crafted at the Fujigen factory, and this particular instrument has been upgraded with a pair of Seymour Duncan ‘59 PAF (SH-1) humbuckers.

Lightweight for an LP-style guitar at 8lbs 5oz, this LPC-75 features a mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. The upgraded pair of Seymour Duncan ‘59 SH-1 humbuckers were designed in the spirit of the original PAF, with sweet singing sustain, tight lows, and just enough midrange to deliver full-sounding chords while retaining clarity and articulation. The neck is girthy and warm, while the bridge has a more focused midrange bite. This LPC-75 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
