Up for sale, a 1993 Jackson Soloist Bass in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted by the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan, this rare Jackson features neck-through construction with a contoured heel, a split-coil/humbucker pickup complement, and Jackson JE-2000 low impedance active electronics.
Tonewoods include a maple neck capped by an ebony fingerboard and yellow poplar body wings, offering ample sustain and natural resonance with the glassy note attack of maple/ebony. The Jackson pickup configuration comprises a J-40 humbucker at the bridge and a J-20 split-coil at the neck, yielding a broad range of growl, punch and grind. The JE-2000 active electronics feature center detent Bass and Treble EQ knobs for further tone sculpting. Weighing 8lbs 12oz, this Soloist Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
