Up for sale, a 1993 Ibanez RG770DX-VM in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. This uncommon Ibanez was produced at the Fujigen factory in Japan, featuring an HSH trio of USA-made DiMarzio IBZ/USA pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, and a Violet Metallic finish that has aged to a golden hue.The tonewood complement includes a basswood body and a maple neck capped with a bound 24 fret rosewood fretboard, yielding a balanced, articulate acoustic response. Produced by DiMarzio in the USA exclusively for Ibanez, the IBZ/USA HSH pickups are rich and powerful-sounding. The F2 humbucker in the bridge position has bite and muscle, while the F4 humbucker at the neck is girthier while retaining excellent clarity. The C3 in the middle position delivers single coil snap and sparkle, complementing the humbuckers well at positions 2 and 4 on the five-way selector switch.
