Up for sale, a 1993 Ibanez Artstar AS200 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this classic Ibanez model features Super 58 humbuckers, gold-plated hardware, and a gloss Antique Violin finish.
The tonewood complement comprises a curly maple body, mahogany/maple neck, and bound ebony fingerboard. The Super 58 humbuckers channel the warmth and articulation of the semi-hollow body; the bridge pickup has great midrange growl and authority, while the neck pickup is coupled to a three-way Tri-Sound switch for coil tap functionality. In humbucker mode, the neck pickup is fat and clear with a sweetness ideal for lead work, and via the Tri-Sound switch, two coil tap options have plenty of spank and sparkle. This AS200 weighs 8lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Antique Violin finish highlights very unique and dynamic grain and figuring in the curly maple top and back, as well as the flame figuring on the rims. Extremely well-kept for over three decades, cosmetic wear is limited to a couple tiny dings on the back and just a few faint finish scratches in the clear coat.
A black tolex hardshell case is included.
