Up for sale, a 1993 Grover Jackson Soloist Standard in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This shred-ready Jackson was crafted at the Chu Shin factory in Japan, featuring maple neck-through construction, an SSH pickup set, a Schaller-built Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, and a gloss Metallic Black finish with matching headstock.
Tonewoods include a maple neck, yellow poplar body wings, and a bound 24-fret rosewood fretboard, and this Soloist weighs 8lbs 1oz. This pickup complement comprises a J-80C ceramic magnet humbucker at the bridge and J-100 single coils in the neck and middle positions. The J-80C humbucker is built for gain with cutting trebles and tight, aggressive lows, balanced by the sweet sparkle and snap of the J-100 single coils. This Soloist Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.
