Up for sale, a 1993 Grover Jackson Soloist Custom HH in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare Jackson was among the highest-tiered Jackson/Charvel Soloist models crafted by the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan, featuring neck-through construction with a contoured heel, a Schaller tremolo, active Mid-Boost circuit, and a pair of powerful humbuckers.
Tonewoods include a quartersawn rock maple neck capped by a 24-fret ebony fingerboard and yellow poplar body wings, offering ample sustain and natural resonance with the glassy note attack of maple/ebony. The powerful Jackson J-80 humbucker in the bridge position is big and bold, with aggressive highs and a balanced midrange, and the J-50 in the neck position has a full sound with great definition and tight, responsive lows. Additionally, the five-way blade selector switch offers coil splitting options in positions 2 and 4 for snappy single coil cut. Weighing 8lbs 9oz, this Soloist Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean, and there is a short, professionally repaired split on the bass-side wing of the headstock between the E and A tuners with some additional touch-up and re-glued binding in this area.
