Up for sale, a 1993 Gibson Flying V '67 vintage reissue model in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case.

A discontinued model with a rare Alpine White gloss nitro lacquer finish, this Flying V boasts solid mahogany construction, loaded with Gibson's 496R and 500T humbuckers. The 496R produces incredible sustain and cutting power with its ceramic magnet, adding more highs with increased definition and no mud in high gain scenarios. The 500T is one of Gibson’s most powerful pickups, containing a three ceramic magnet structure, which enables a no-holds-barred rock and roll crunch that never loses its rich combination of enhanced lows and crystal clear highs. At 7lbs 2oz, this V is very easy on the back and has been dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The one-piece mahogany neck has a slender, fast-feeling C-shaped profile carve with just enough roundness in the shoulders, measuring .795" deep at the 1st fret and .890" at the 12th. On the dark slab rosewood fretboard, the stock frets are nigh flawless, retaining their full factory height with well-rounded crowns, playing cleanly in every register. The guitar conforms to traditional Gibson spec with a 1 11/16" wide nut and 24 3/4" scale length. On the headstock, the original Gibson Deluxe double line tuning machines with greened tulip buttons turn smoothly and hold pitch as they should.

All of the electronics work as intended, with the dual humbuckers wired to individual Volume controls and a Master Tone knob. Both humbuckers feature Gibson USA-embossed baseplates, the solder joints are untouched, and the CTS pots date to the 25th week of '93. The chrome hardware and plastic parts are notably clean, and the guitar boasts a gloss Alpine White nitro lacquer finish with uniform yellowing of the clear coat. Cosmetic wear on the body is limited to a small spot of light buckle rash central to the bass side of the V and only a couple tiny additional marks on the body as a whole. The neck profile is flawless.

The original brown tolex Gibson USA hardshell case is included with pink plush interior, original blanket, functional latches, and the stock leather handle.
