Up for sale, a 1993 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-58 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with an SKB molded hardshell case. This “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was produced for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin.

Tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this bass has a smooth, balanced natural acoustic response. There’s plenty of midrange presence and articulate growl on tap via the pair of single coil pickups, and rolling off the Tone knob yields round thump. This JB62-58 weighs 9lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Sunburst finish is limited to light buckle rash on the back and just a handful of minor nicks on the body as a whole, largely relegated to back and lower bout perimeter. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless and highlights subtle flame figuring in the maple.

A Freedom by SKB molded hardshell case is included.
