Up for sale, a 1993 Fender Custom Shop '52 Telecaster in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. While Fender's Custom Shop did produce a well-known run of 29 Telecasters for Guitar Center with this same Gold Sparkle finish in 1993, along with a couple other documented one-off Strats/Teles in gold sparkle from this model year, the full complement of gold hardware and matching gold sparkle pickguard set this guitar squarely apart in terms of uniqueness and visual appeal.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, and this Tele weighs 8lbs 3oz. The pair of single coil pickups feature black fiber bobbins, flush-mount, unbeveled pole pieces (bridge), and cloth-covered leads, and these pickups deliver quintessential Tele sparkle and snap. The bridge has a hotter bite and chewy twang, while the neck is fat and throaty with a clear, balanced midrange that yields a notably dynamic feel. This Custom Shop Telecaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
