Up for sale, a 1992 Mosrite 40th Anniversary Ventures Model in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and CoA. One of the very last Mosrites handmade by Semie Moseley and his small team in the twilight years of Mosrite's USA manufacturing, this guitar hails from the "Built in Soul" era, crafted at the Booneville, Arkansas factory to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Mosrite name. This Ventures Model boasts set neck construction, a slim D neck profile carve, sandcast “Vibramute” vibrato, and a rare custom color gloss Strawberry Red finish framed by multi-ply binding, with the renowned "Ventures" logo on the matching headstock. The set neck construction provides greater stability and sustain than its bolt-on counterparts, while the stock pair of single coil pickups has ample power and midrange content. Handwound (and in the case of the bridge pickup, signed on the base by Semie Moseley) to vintage-spec and metering at 12.5k ohms at the neck and 11.3k ohms at the bridge, these single coils are meaty and rich, with tons of twang and a broad bass register not often afforded a single coil, providing an authoritative sound that's quintessential Mosrite.
