Up for sale, a 1992 Gibson Limited Edition ES-350T in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, factory documentation, and case candy. While many incarnations of the ES-350T are notable for their shorter scale length and narrower nut width, this particular uncommon Gibson will surely delight Jazz purists and players seeking more conventional Gibson geometry, with a full 25 1/2" scale length and 1 11/16" nut width. Other traditional dimensions of the ES-350T have been retained, with a full 17" lower bout width and slender 2 1/4" body depth. This particular ES-350T was ordered by Gibson's Japanese distributor Yamano, and Gibson's USA-made guitars distributed via Yamano are often considered among their best, featuring the highest quality woods hand-picked for Gibson's discerning Japanese audience.
The fully hollow curly maple body is paired with a three-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fretboard, and this guitar weighs 7lbs 6oz. The pair of '57 Classic PAFs feature Alnico II magnets, delivering an airy treble response with a touch of growl on the note attack and an overall smoothness accentuated by the 11-49 flatwound strings. The neck pickup has more breadth and body with a bell-like top end, a favored setting for retaining clarity for lead work and complex chording. This ES-350T has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with low action and accurate intonation.

The gloss Vintage Sunburst nitro lacquer finish highlights dynamic curly figuring in the maple, particularly prominent on the back and rims, with limited finish checking. There are a couple small professionally repaired splits on the rim framing the input jack, with a small amount of finish loss and clear lacquer overspray in this area. Cosmetic wear is otherwise limited to light scuffing along the pick path and just a couple faint scratches on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth matching nitro gloss, with a couple shallow marks that don't distract the palm while fretting.
The original Gibson USA brown tolex hardshell case is included, along with the Gibson/Yamano factory paperwork and Gibson tool set. All but one of the case latches is functional, and the original handle is intact.
