Up for sale, a 1992 Fender '63 Vibroverb in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. One of Fender's earliest and most sought after reissue amplifiers, this USA-made 2x10 combo is very faithful to the original Vibroverb design both in terms of appearance and the integrity of the circuit. This amp delivers the warmth, incredible EQ sweep, and glassy, detailed quality of Fender's classic Brown Panel circuits, and while the cleans are bold and defined, the amp also has smooth, rich overdrive beyond 5 on the Volume dial. Add tube driven spring reverb and a bias-based tremolo circuit with an incredibly deep pulse and you have one of Fender's most revered circuits and sought after reissues.
The circuit is untouched with stock transformers and caps, and the power tubes are a pair of JJ 6L6GCs that sound great and have been properly biased. The speakers are the original gold frame Oxford 10K5 drivers, both of which have been reconed, and these speakers are notable for being the only Oxford reissues Fender has ever offered in one of their reissue amps. With smooth midrange and great breakup, these speakers are sought after in their own right and pair perfectly with the tone of the Vibroverb. The tube chart is intact inside the cabinet, and both the chart and the Quality Assurance sticker have a "CD" code which translates to April of 1992.
The original smooth brown tolex and wheat grillcloth are extremely clean, and the amp retains all of its original hardware as well. The faceplate has a full complement of cream barrel knobs.
The amp is complete with its original Fender-branded slip cover and two-button Reverb/Vibrato footswitch.
