Up for sale, a 1992 Fender “Order Made” Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan as part of the Order Made program, which offered numerous non-catalog finish and component options.
This particular Stratocasters’s Order Made features include a satin Walnut lacquer finish over an ash body and gold hardware throughout. The guitar has a bold, lively natural acoustic quality with a complex midrange character and crisp note attack. The trio of ST-Vintage single coil pickups feature Alnico magnet construction, with a bridge pickup that has a gutsy cut and sparkling bounce, and a neck pickup with throaty punch that retains excellent articulation. The “in-between” positions yield a percussive hollow chime. This Order Made Stratocaster weighs 8lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
