Up for sale, a 1992 Fender "Order Made" Telecaster Custom ‘72 vintage reissue model TC72 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production as part of Fender Japan’s Order Made program, which functioned as a sort of Custom Shop and offered a bevy of non-catalog features, this Telecaster is visually unique with a factory double pickguard and a premium two-piece ash body with a Natural gloss finish.
An early example, this "Made in Japan" Telecaster Custom features a Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and a traditional Tele single coil at the bridge. Acoustically, this Telecaster's ash body and one-piece maple neck yields a bold, detailed sound with excellent note attack. This Tele has a broad tonal spectrum, offering thick, meaty humbucker tones in the neck position and, twangy single coil snap at the bridge. The middle position is a "best of both worlds" setting, and the two pickups balance well both in terms of output and their respective tonal attributes. This Tele weighs 7lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

With its pickguard pair arguably as its most visually defining feature, it's worth reasserting the originality of this rare second pickguard, both of which have the same material and edge bevel. The gloss Natural finish exhibits only a few small dings and light finish scratches on the body as a whole. The gloss finish on the neck profile is flawless.
The original Fender-branded gigbag is included.
