Up for sale, a 1991 Mosrite Ventures Model Bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced by KuroKumo, an official Mosrite licensee in Japan, this bass' distinctive features include a unique pickup combination and uncommon 32” scale length.

Metering 7.1k ohms at the neck and 12.5k ohms at the bridge, the pickups offer plenty of natural growl and roundness, with great midrange character and a distinctive smooth-yet-aggressive quality unique to Mosrite basses. The bridge position in particular delivers considerable heat. This Ventures Model Bass weighs 9lbs 11oz, professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The body sports a distinctive German carve, and the gloss three-tone Sunburst has a few finish chips with limited touch-up, mostly on the lower bout perimeter, with various minor dings and scuffs from use, and small, doweled mounting holes for a couple removed finger/thumb rest positions. The smooth gloss on the neck profile has just a few shallow marks.
