Up for sale, a 1991 Grover Jackson King V Custom in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This Jackson was among the highest-tiered Jackson/Charvel King V models crafted by the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan, featuring neck-through construction, a Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, and a pair of powerful ceramic magnet humbuckers.
Tonewoods include a quartersawn maple neck capped by a 22-fret ebony fingerboard and yellow poplar body wings, offering ample sustain and natural resonance with the glassy note attack of maple/ebony. The J90C ceramic magnet high-output humbucker in the bridge position is built to shred, retaining great articulation even with heavy gain, and the J-50BC in the neck position has a big and bold sound. Weighing 8lbs 3oz, this King V Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
