Up for sale, a 1991 Fender "Order Made" Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan as part of the Order Made program, which offered numerous non-catalog finish and component options.
This particular Stratocaster's Order Made features include a satin Walnut lacquer finish over an ash body and gold hardware throughout. The guitar has a bold, lively natural acoustic quality with a complex midrange character and crisp note attack. The trio of ST-Vintage single coil pickups feature Alnico magnet construction, with a bridge pickup that has a gutsy cut and sparkling bounce, and a neck pickup with throaty punch that retains excellent articulation. The “in-between” positions yield a percussive hollow chime. This Strat weighs 7lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The satin Walnut lacquer finish highlights the dynamic grain in the ash body, and the finish exhibits cloudiness in the clear coat, light buckle rash on the back, and many minor nicks and finish scratches on the body as a whole. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile has a few shallow marks as well, virtually undetectable to the palm while fretting.
A padded gigbag is included.
