Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-500 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a tweed hardshell case. This “Made in Japan” Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan, produced for the Japanese domestic market and uncommon outside its country of origin.
Weighing 7lbs 14oz, tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, offering a balanced natural acoustic quality. The bridge position has a sparkling upper midrange-focused cut, the middle pickup has a percussive snap, and the neck position is throaty and warm while still having a peppy snap in the top end. Positions 2 and 4 on the five-way pickup selector switch offer a thinned-out squawk. This Stratocaster ST62-500 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
