Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Precision Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model PB62-53 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the hangtags. This “Made in Japan” model was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, uncommon outside its country of origin.
Tonewoods include a basswood body and maple neck capped by a thick slab rosewood fretboard, and this P Bass weighs 9lbs 3oz. The split-coil pickup delivers treble growl balanced by low end heft and smooth thump, particularly broad with the Tone knob rolled back. This Precision Bass PB62-53 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
