Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Order Made Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” ST62 was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production as part of the “Order Made” program, essentially a Japanese custom shop which offered non-catalog component and finish options; this particular Strat sports a custom color Candy Apple Red finish with matching peghead.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The trio of ST-Vintage single coil pickups features Alnico magnet construction, yielding gutsy cut and sparkling bounce at the bridge, throaty punch and smooth breadth at the neck, and hollow percussive quack at the “in-between” positions on the switch. This Order Made ST62 weighs 7lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Candy Apple Red finish exhibits a couple “tan lines” from previously removed stickers on the top and back. There is faint buckle wear central to the back and a handful of minor dings on the body as a whole, largely concentrated at the lower bout. The gloss on the neck profile is clean and smooth with just a few shallow nicks on the profile length.

The original faux leather gigbag is included.
