Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-950 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, this “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was a top-tier model, faithful to vintage spec, featuring a nitro lacquer finish with USA-made single coil pickups and electronics.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, delivering a resonant, lively and round acoustic quality that translates well through the original Fender USA single coil pickups. The same pickups used on early Fender American Standard models, there's plenty of midrange growl and burp on tap, with great top end detail and fundamental punch. Rolling back the Tone knob yields a pillowy, thick thump that retains definition.
