Up for sale, a 1991 Fender American Vintage ‘57 Stratocaster in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original tweed hardshell case. Discontinued years ago, this is an early Corona, CA example of the American Vintage Stratocaster model, featuring a Black nitro lacquer gloss finish.

Weighing 7lbs 15oz, tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, with a balanced, clear acoustic response. The American Vintage 57/62 single coils feature staggered, unbeveled pole pieces, black fiber bobbins, and cloth-covered leads, yielding a bouncy snap and sparkle at the bridge, a round, woody quality at the neck, and a spanky quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This American Vintage ‘57 Stratocaster benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
