Up for sale, a 1991 Epiphone Casino in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. Produced in Japan at the Terada factory, this is an early Epiphone reissue which preceded the "Elitist" line, sporting a gloss Sunburst finish on the lightly figured maple body and a pair of dogear P-90 pickups.
Acoustically, the fully hollow thinline body has a smooth, bright tone with great articulation, qualities captured by the P-90 pickups. The pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark, and a glassy, percussive quality. Offering a refinement far beyond most modern Casinos, these pickups are sensitive to picking dynamics with an overarching sweetness and sparkling cut, equally suited to detailed cleans and rich overdrive. Featherweight at 6lbs 6oz, this Casino has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
