1991 Charvel Jackson Super Dinky SDK-085-HH See Through Black w/ Hangtags, Japan

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 1991 Charvel by Jackson Super Dinky model SDK-085-HH in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and hangtags/factory paperwork. Crafted at the Chu Shin factory in Japan and sold exclusively to the Japanese domestic market, this sleek Charvel was built to shred, featuring a See Through Black finish over an ash body, a quartersawn rock maple neck, and a slab 24-fret rosewood fretboard.

The Jackson pickups include a J80 humbucker in the bridge position, channeling the natural note attack and midrange complexity of the ash body, and a medium output J50 humbucker in the neck position that produces a full sound with great definition. Additionally, the five-way JE-0005-SW selector switch offers coil splitting options in positions 2 and 4 for glassy single coil spank, functioning as follows:

1. Bridge humbucker
2. Neck + Bridge coil tapped (outer coils)
3. Neck + Bridge humbuckers
4. Neck + Bridge coil tapped (inner coils)
5. Neck humbucker

This SDK-085-HH weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss See Through Black finish highlights the tight, dynamic grain in the ash body, and cosmetic wear is limited to light pick wear on top along the pick path, plus a few light finish scratches on the back and a scant few tiny marks on the body as a whole. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate.
