Up for sale, a 1990s Mosrite Ventures Model “Excellent ‘65” vintage reissue in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Manufactured in Japan by Kurokumo, this expertly constructed instrument adheres to vintage spec, featuring an rare custom color Ocean Blue finish.
Tonewoods include a basswood body with a vintage-spec German Carve, a maple neck, and bound slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic tone. These tonewoods provide an ideal platform for the single coil pickup pair which offers plenty of power, percussive cut, and sparkling treble. Weighing 7lbs 7oz, this Mosrite has been professionally setup here at Mike and Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
