Up for sale, a circa 1990 ESP Custom Shop Superstrat in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. ESP's Japanese Custom Shop is famous for producing unique handmade instruments for their clientele, built to nearly any specification and catering to all idiosyncratic needs. Essentially a one-off version of the George Lynch Kamikazi-1 with a unique Pink Crackle finish and matching reverse “hockey stick” headstock, additional features include streamlined controls, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and an HH (single coil-sized humbucker at the neck) pickup pair.

The SH-100 Powerrail is indelibly linked with Lynch’s tone, and this single coil-sized humbucker features ceramic magnet construction and blade pole pieces, delivering tons of power with cutting trebles and punchy mids. In the bridge position is an APC 23; this USA-made humbucker has an EMG-style combination of balanced articulation and raw power with tight, aggressive lows, taking gain notably well and retaining clarity no matter how dirty the tone gets. This ESP Custom Shop Superstrat weighs 11lbs 1oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Pink Crackle finish has a lightly textured feel due to the heating/crackling process, and cosmetic wear is limited to a handful of minor finish scratches and tiny marks on the body as a whole. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is flawless, and the topcoat has chipped in a few locations around the edge of the peghead face.

A modern ESP padded gigbag is included.
