Up for sale, an early 1990s Digitech WH-1 Whammy Pedal in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This original iteration of the Whammy platform was produced from 1989-1993 and was an immediate success, playing a pivotal role on the pedalboards of artists like Tom Morello and Jonny Greenwood. It delivers classic hair-raising “dive bomb” effects, pitch bends, and broad harmony shifts, enabling access to previously unplayable registers and glitched-out weirdness.The WH-1 features 9 harmony modes, 5 whammy modes, and shallow/deep detune modes, easily selected at the 16-position rotary knob, with wet/dry outputs. Cosmetic wear on the Ferrari Red enclosure is limited to a handful of small chips and scuffs on the edges of the treadle, which actuates smoothly.While a power supply is not included, the pedal has been thoroughly tested.
