Up for sale, a 1990 Orville Les Paul Standard model LPS-75 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and rarely seen outside its country of origin, this Orville is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this discontinued Orville model was crafted at the Terada factory.
This guitar evokes the look and feel of a late '50s Les Paul Standard with a solid mahogany body and neck, two-piece carved maple cap, and bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid trapezoid inlay. Hotly wound, both humbuckers meter around 9k ohms; bold, rich and powerful, these pickups have great top end articulation and dynamic range. The bridge pickup delivers a rich midrange cut and growl, and the neck pickup yields both warmth and complexity. This Les Paul weighs 10lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
