Up for sale, a 1990 Greco EGC-600 Custom in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This EGC hails from late in the Mint Collection era of Greco production, crafted at the venerable Fujigen factory and uncommon outside of its country of origin. Clearly designed as a response to the '68 Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty,” this EGC-600 features a carved maple top, mahogany body, long tenon neck joint, "Screamin’" PAF pickups, braided pickup leads, full-size pots, and a hand-carved bone nut.
A lively and powerful-sounding instrument, this EGC-600 yields a wide array of quintessential LP-style tones: the bridge pickup has a complex and detailed sound, with a touch of growl and a round bass response, and the neck position humbucker delivers more girth and fullness while retaining clarity. Weighing 9lbs 14oz, this Greco has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
