Crafted as part of Greco’s EG Series, just after the Mint Collection era, this EG-600 was made concurrently with Gibson-licensed Orville production at the same factory, faithful to vintage Gibson spec, outfitted with an aftermarket pair of genuine Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers.

Tonewoods include a carved maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck with long neck tenon, and bound rosewood fretboard, yielding a lively sound with great sustain. The 490R is Gibson's Modern Classic humbucker, featuring Alnico II magnets and similar in its response to a PAF, yet with more midrange emphasis. The 498T Hot Alnico bridge position pickup has Alnico V magnets, with plenty of muscle and growl, well-suited for high gain scenarios. This EG-600 weighs 9lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
