Up for sale, a 1990 Greco APB-1000 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This premium Greco model, produced at the Fujigen factory, is a Japanese-built iteration of the Ampeg Dan Armstrong platform, featuring a transparent acrylic (Lucite) body, three-piece maple/walnut neck with a rosewood fretboard, and “Rock-Bullet Bass” humbucker with blade pole pieces. Even the faux wood pickguard is a faithful recreation, with "Spirits of the Live" text where one would otherwise see "Dan Armstrong - Ampeg."
This APB-1000's “Rock-Bullet Bass” humbucker packs a punch, with a full-sounding, aggressive tone that delivers muscular growl and low end rumble while retaining excellent note definition. The two-way mini toggle bypasses the harness and sends the pickup directly to the 1/4" jack for maximum dynamic feel and “cranked” levels at the flip of a switch. This APB-1000 weighs 9lbs 6oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the contoured Lucite body is limited to faint scuffing on top and a handful of minor finish scratches on the back. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for a few tiny nicks central to the carve behind frets 2-4 that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
A gigbag is included.
