Up for sale, a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. The Les Paul Custom dates to an increasingly heralded era of Gibson production colloquially known as the “good wood” era, featuring a carved two-piece maple top, solid mahogany body, mahogany neck, bound ebony fingerboard, and a gloss Wine Red nitro lacquer finish accented by gold hardware.

Weighing 10lbs 12oz, the guitar delivers a bold, muscular acoustic voice with great warmth and glassy treble articulation. The stock pair of 490 humbuckers offer the general tonal profile of a PAF, wax-potted for excellent feedback rejection with higher gain, and offering a bit more heat and midrange growl. This Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
