Up for sale, a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Les Paul Custom dates to an increasingly heralded era of Gibson production colloquially known as the “good wood” era, featuring a gloss Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish and zebra bobbin ‘57 Classic PAF humbuckers.
This Les Paul makes the most of its traditional tonewoods, weighing 10lbs 3oz with impressive natural clarity and punch. The replacement pair of ‘57 Classic PAF humbuckers have the same smoothness, articulation, and open, airy warmth of their 1950s forebears, with plenty of power and immediacy in the bridge position and thick, round sound from the neck pickup. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, this Les Paul Custom has been dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
