Up for sale, a 1990 Fender Precision Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model PB62-500 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” model was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, uncommon outside its country of origin, upgraded with a Fender Custom Shop ‘62 Precision Bass pickup.

The upgraded Custom Shop ‘62 Precision Bass split-coil pickup has Alnico V magnet construction, black fiber bobbins and cloth-covered leads, delivering thick, booming lows, crisp treble growl, and a gutsy, punchy midrange. This Precision Bass weighs 8lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Olympic White finish exhibits subtle yellowing in the clear coat and an area of checking adjacent to the pickguard on the bass-side, with cosmetic wear limited to pick scuffing across the strum path and some small dings and finish scratches largely on the lower bout perimeter. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is is clean and smooth.

A faux leather gigbag is included.
