Up for sale, a 1990 Fender Order Made PJ Precision Bass in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a molded hardshell case. Based on a '62 vintage reissue PB62 platform, this “Made in Japan” bass was crafted as part of the Order Made program, which offered a bevy of non-catalog finish and component options, including the PJ pickup configuration and unique control layout seen here.

The pickups offer both the ample thump and growl of a split coil Precision pickup and the midrange cut and treble grind of a Jazz pickup, with a three-way mini toggle pickup selector to toggle between the coils. This bass weighs 8lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Sunburst exhibits light buckle rash on the back, scuffing along the pick path (largely constrained to the guard) and a number of dings and scuffs on the body as a whole, most prominent at the lower bout.
