Up for sale, a 1990 Charvel by Jackson Dinky DK-070-HSH in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and owner’s manual. Made at the Chu Shin factory in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this Superstrat is built to shred, featuring an HSH pickup complement, Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, and a gloss Ferrari Red finish.
The DK-070-HSH features a yellow poplar body, quartersawn rock maple neck, and slab 22-fret maple fretboard. The powerful Jackson J-90C ultra high-output, distortion class ceramic humbucker in the bridge position is big and bold, delivering thick, ripping drive that translates to monster chords and singing, white-hot melodic playing, while the J-50BC in the neck position has a PAF-style tonal profile, smooth and punchy. The J-100 single coil in the middle positions features Alnico V magnet construction with ample snap and cut, and the five-way blade pickup selector switch offers a variety of voicing options. This DK-070-HSH weighs 8lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
