Tonewoods include maple neck through construction with poplar body wings and a 24-fret rosewood fretboard, and this SL-140-HH weighs 8lbs 7oz. The powerful ceramic J-80C humbucker in the bridge position is big and bold, with aggressive highs and a balanced midrange, and the J-50 in the neck position has a full sound with great definition and tight, responsive lows. Additionally, the five-way JE-0005 blade selector switch offers coil splitting options in positions 2 and 4 for snappy single coil cut, and the active Mid-boost control enables super thick, ripping tones.
