Up for sale, a 1990 B.C. Rich Mockingbird model MG-1101N in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This Mockingbird was crafted in Japan as part of the NJ (Nagoya, Japan) Series, featuring a bolt-on maple neck and pair of HB high-output humbuckers. This particular iteration of the MG-1101N also features a hardtail bridge, a notably rare feature for NJ Series Mockingbirds of this era.
The tonewood complement comprises a maple neck, mahogany/maple/mahogany body, and rosewood fretboard. The pair of HB high-output humbuckers are powerful and cutting, with meaty chunk in the neck position and tighter, more aggressive bite and growl at the bridge. This MG-1101N weighs 8lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
