Up for sale, a 1989 Greco Collection Series model EGW-80 in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare Greco was produced at the Fujigen factory exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, faithfully capturing the finer points of the uncommon Les Paul Custom Lite model with a very slender mahogany body, carved maple top, three-piece mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard.
The slender, contoured (front and back) body design means this EGW-80 only weighs 7lbs 15oz, offering plenty of warmth and sustain. The pickups are a brand new set of StewMac's Parsons Street PAF humbuckers, and these pickups feature Alnico V magnets and vintage-spec plain enameled 42 AWG coil wire. The pickups produce a clear tone with pronounced highs and tight low end, dynamic and comfortable with a variety of genres and playing styles. This EGW-80 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
