Up for sale, a 1989 Fender Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-75 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This “Made in Japan” Stratocaster was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring vintage-spec touches including a large headstock with a block logo, three-bolt neck plate, and block saddles.

Featuring an ash body and one-piece maple neck, this Strat offers plenty of clear note attack, complex midrange punch and defined low end, loaded with a trio of Fender’s ST-Current alnico magnet single coils. Via the five-way pickup selector, the bridge pickup has plenty of round, sparkling cut, with a bold and sweet neck position and great hollow quack in positions 2 and 4. This ST72-75 weighs 8lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Olympic White finish has some minor dings on the body as a whole, largely on the back and perimeter. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
