Up for sale, a 1989 Fender Stratocaster ST57-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. An early Fender Japan domestic market instrument replicating the look and feel of a golden age 1950s Fender Strat, this guitar was crafted at the famed Fujigen factory. Faithful to vintage spec and an upscale model sold only within Japan, this Strat has a sparkling, lively acoustic tone with plenty of natural snap and clarity which translates well through the pickups.
The guitar is fitted with its original complement of early American Vintage 57/62 pickups, accurate to vintage spec with unbeveled alnico magnets, black bobbin flatwork, and push back cloth-covered leads. Coupled to a three-way pickup selector switch, the bridge pickup is sparkling and chewy, while the neck pickup has ideal fullness and bell-like top end. Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this Strat benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
